Donation-of-School Materials Project

โครงการมอบคอมพิวเตอร์และอุปกรณ์การเรียน,Donation of School Materials Project

Activities to promote education is one thing which the Better Thailand Foundation focuses its efforts in helping youths to have opportunities in education and apply knowledge as a tool to improve themselves and develop our country.

In most parts of Thailand, particularly upcountry provinces, there is shortage of budget allocation from the government creating a gap in education system between urban and rural in providing education tools.

The Better Thailand Foundation initiated a project donating computers and school materials to narrow the gap in education opportunity, in order to help crate a more equal education system throughout the country. In the past ten years the Foundation has organized an activity for volunteers to repair secondhand computers and donate them to schools in upcountry provinces. Consecutively, the Foundation has donated new computers and equipments to encourage youth learning to be ready for the Knowledge based Society.
